Prior to Vadis , Baruk PILO was Venture Partner at Fidelity Ventures in the London office
Prior to Fidelity, Baruk PILO was Manager of the European M&A and Investment team of Cisco Systems where he was involved in transactions such as : Digiquant (Denmark) acquired by Intec in 2003, Riverhead (Israel) acquired by Cisco in 2004, Job Partners (UK), Meiosys (France) acquired by IBM in 2005 , VirtualLogix (France), Index Ventures III (Geneva), Kiss Technologies (Denmark) acquired by Cisco in 2005.
From 1998 to 2000 Baruk was Manager in the European Communications group of Oracle Corporation for EMEA
From 1996 to 1998 Baruk was Manager of the “IT and Communications” offer of Cap Gemini.
Baruk holds a BS in Economics and MS in Information Technology and Management at Paris XII University
Philippe Becher
Prior to establishing Vadis in Israel, Philippe Becher was the French Country Manager for Fantine group, a leading business and capital development company where he developed extensive knowledge in the data-centric market leading successful OEMs and sales agreements with large French financial institution and IT vendors.
Previously, Philippe held the position of Vice President of Natexis Banque Populaire, one of the leading French Investment Bank, where he managed the commodities trade finance desk.
He also worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (E.B.R.D.) as an Investment Banker leading the equity investment team in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Philippe holds a BA in Economics from Université Paris IX Dauphine, the leading French university of business and a MBA from ISC.
